For over 10 years, the Elmwoods have been playing music together and we love what we do. We play the songs we like, done the way we feel them and really appreciate that our audiences love what we do. We’re a band from the neighborhood…more specifically, the Elmwood district neighborhood in Berkeley, California…hence the name! Yeah, we know…not very original, but it works for us.

Our song choices span a wide variety of styles- rockabilly, country, doo-wop, reggae, pop, rock, even a bit of funky stuff. Yes, we cover other artists’ songs but we tend to “Elmwood-ize” them a bit, giving them our own distinctive style and flavor. You’ll love it, we guarantee it! We also do some of our own original material. You’ll like that too!
