BALTIC KISS UPDATE
Thank you to all who supported us—employees, customers, friends, and family. We can't tell you how much you all mean to us. With a heavy heart, we are done. With the help of many, we tried all kinds of different approaches to make the Baltic Kiss successful. There were good and bad ideas—we tried it all. We never gave up till the day we did. Never for one second did we want it to end this way. We slowly got behind on everything. We could not afford to close; we could not afford to open. It was a living nightmare. It became obvious we needed to close, but we had so many commitments—the main one being paying our employees. So we pressed on, exhausting every possible avenue to make amends. We have never in our lives tried harder at anything. We worked seven days a week. With the way things were, we were day to day financially. The GoFundMe kept us going two more months as we looked for a loan or investor. We never got. I wish everyone could walk one day in this and see the reality. We are going to liquidate the restaurant's assets and pay back as much as we can immediately after the move-out process. This is the hardest place we have ever been. We apologize to everyone that has been affected by our financial problems. It should have never gotten this far, and we are so sorry.
Sincerely, Chef Tony and Suzie 4/19/25
