Jazz with Jeff Tauber and Friends regularly introduces guest musicians as well as other jazz groups from across the Bay Area, sundays at Baltic Kiss. Pairs great with dinner, drinks and is followed by an evening show at 8 (for details, see event info below).

Tauber and Friends features the steel drum rythms of John Kaydk, the jazz of Brazil, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

Jeff Tauber is a tenor and soprano sax player, who started his music career in the Blues clubs of Oakland, adding a strong R&B influence to the band. He’s performed at both the Monterrey Jazz Festival and the Monterey Blues Festivals, with Sonny Rhodes and Johnny Hartzman , respectively.

John Kaydk, is one of the very few steel drum players in the bay area playing jazz (also doubling on alto sax), bringing his unique tropical stylings to the our latin jazz repertoire.
