Special Post-Game Celebration starts immediately after 49erWatchParty

Jeff Tauber and Friends hosts “Sunday Afternoon Jazz at the Baltic Kiss” each Sunday Afternoon between 4 and 7PM., the band features the steel drum rythms of John Kaydk , and the jazz of Brazil, the Caribbean, and Latin America. “Sunday Afternoon Jazz at the Baltic Kiss” regularly introduces guest musicians as well as other jazz groups from across the bay area.

Jeff Tauber is a tenor and soprano sax player, who started his music career in the Blues clubs of Oakland, adding a strong R&B influence to the band. He’s performed at both the Monterrey Jazz Festival and the Monterey Blues Festivals, with Sonny Rhodes and Johnny Hartzman , respectively. John Kaydk, is one of the very few steel drum players in the bay area playing jazz (also doubling on alto sax), bringing his unique tropical stylings to the our latin jazz repertoire.

Jeff Tauber plays hot jazz, R&B, and Blues. Jeff’s tenor sax sound can be described as a cross between Stanley Turentine and King Curtis. Jeff's love of the blues and Jazz started in the clubs and after hours dives of West Oakland during the eighties. “You would show up after midnight and the joints were just getting it on, and didn’t let up until dawn. I learned more from playing the Blues in Oakland than I could from any formal music education.” Jeff has played with local Blues and Jazz stars, such as JJ Malone, Cool Poppa, Maxine Howard and Ronnie Stuart and the Bay Area Cavalcade of Allstars. He’s performed at both the Monterrey Jazz Festival and Monterey Blues Festival, with Sonny Rhodes and Johnny Hartzman , respectively
